This email is a follow-up to the excellent experience that I had buying a pool table from Gilchrist Games.
From the time I walked in the door of your showroom, I was impressed with your salesmanship and knowledge about the tables. The fact that you were able to get the Toronto '67 logo engraved into the table was fantastic.
From the time I placed the order you kept me informed of the status and potiential delivery date. On the day of the scheduled delivery, your two installers arrived on time and were professional and courteous. Even though there were challenges with getting the table down the stairs, they were able to overcome these without a problem. You have over exceeded my expectations. Brilliant Space for a Surprise Party...
"Hi Paul,
Thank you so much for everything. The party was a huge success, my dad had a great time as did all our guests. He was also very suprised! All the guests had a lot of fun playing games - not many people sat!...
... Thanks again for all your help and patience. Everyone wanted to know how I found the place;) Everyone thought the place was amazing...which it is. We were able to watch the video on the flat screen all night which everyone enjoyed and the music on the juke box was great and added a lot to the atmosphere! The kids were all entertained all night long which made the night more enjoyable for all the adults!

IN BUSINESS A LONG TIME FOR A REASON.
"Equipped my new games room just recently. Did a lot of shopping around. Gilchrist Games know their stuff, have EVERYTHING you could want, offer the best prices and delivered and installed exactly when promised.
I am going to the trouble of writing this review because I was so pleased with their service and games selection and support that I felt I owed it to them (Thanks guys!)
And wait till you see their showroom and antiques! (Think big arcade and all on Free Play!!!) "

Gilchrist Games in Small Business Magazine 1985
Is there even still a magazine called Small Business? I think Gilchrist Games has outlasted them!

Coin-operated vending machines can dispense everything from videotapes to 3 minutes of Lawrence Welk playing Moon River. There's more to the vending business, though, than setting up a machine and watching the coins roll in. Although it takes savvy, hard work and experience to succeed, newcomers to the industry find it irresistable.
The article, by Ron Harris, was published in the December 1985 edition of Small Business Magazine and was a very in-depth look at the gaming and coin machine business at the time. It gave readers an insiders prospective on the industry - just before the bottom dropped out.
